Al Schroeder has over 36 years of experience in the finance, banking and captive finance industry including executive positions at GE, Chase Manhattan, Michigan National Corporation and Coulter Corporation. He created and successfully executed business plans that increased the size as well as the profitability of companies with local, regional and national operations. Currently, Mr. Schroeder is President of ARCapital, Inc., established in 1994.

Adjunct Professor 1994 – Present

He works with Webster University as an adjunct professor teaching Finance, Marketing, Management and International Businesses courses. He also has been an adjunct professor for Barry University Teaching Finance and Budget Administration courses and DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management, teaching Financial Management courses there also. Mr. Schroeder was also guest speaker at Webster/Regent College London UK to discuss Macro Economics and International Trade. He was awarded the annual Webster University William J. Duggan Award for Academic Leadership in 2014.

Military Experience Summary 1967 – 1994

Lt. Col. Schroeder entered the Air Force March 20, 1967 with an AFROTC Commission. After pilot training in 1968, he was assigned to Tan Son Nhut AFB in Saigon, RVN. In 1969 he was assigned to Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, NC. While stationed at Seymour Johnson he became an Instructor Pilot in KC-135 aircraft. In 1977 he joined the Air Force Reserve and served as an Air Staff Officer. After being promoted in 1987 he was reassigned to Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) at McDill AFB, Tampa, FL where he served as Combat Search and Recovery Officer until he retired in 1994. He received numerous awards including the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with Six Oak Leaf Clusters and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
